Ingredients of Red Grape Juice

  • 4 cups red grapes, washed and stems removed
  • 1/2 cup water, or more as needed

  • Fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Large bowl
  • Pitcher or glass jars for storage


  1. Combine the grapes and water in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the grape mixture into a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth-lined bowl. Use a spoon or spatula to press the pulp against the strainer to extract all the juice. Discard the pulp.
  3. Taste the juice and add sugar or honey to taste, if desired.
  4. Pour the juice into a pitcher or glass jars for storage. The juice will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.


  • For a richer flavor, use seedless grapes.
  • If you want a smoother juice, strain the juice through a second time.
